Information We Collect
We only collect personal information about you and when you subscribe to our e-newsletter, enter one of our offers or if you enter one of our competitions. We may also occasionally request your personal information from one of our marketing partners. We will always let you have a copy of all personal information we have about you should you request it, and you can do so by emailing visitors@cardiff.gov.uk
Our E-Newsletters
We never subscribe anyone to our e-newsletter ourselves. If you are receiving our e-newsletter, it is because you subscribed at some point using a competition entry form, our e-newsletter subscription form or a form on our website that offered subscription as part of an opt-in form option. You can unsubscribe from our e-newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the base of one of our emails.
Sharing information about You
We never pass on information provided by you to any third parties unless you consent to us doing so. We do, however, disclose anonymous, aggregate (not individual or personally recognisable) data to potential partners, advertisers and digital service suppliers we utilise. This includes how many views or page visits we have on our website overall, which countries or networks those visits are from and how many e-newsletter subscribers we have.

Cardiff Council and Cardiff Business Council take precautions to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of your user data under our control. Use: Some cookies are used as part of our branded ‘Where To Stay’ accommodation booking website, which is provide dby Hotels.com, a company of Expedia.com. These services include remember your searches on our hotel booking service, specifically data such as when you were looking to travel, location of hotel (Cardiff) and search criteria.
